Sr. Compensation Analyst (Contract) - Peachtree City, GA

Assists Human Resources management in the overall administration, communication, and analysis of salary programs, incentive programs, bonus plans, merit plans, salary structure, job descriptions.

 

  • Participates in development of, design, delivery, implementation and execution of a competitive compensation/total rewards programs, including administrative procedures, guidelines, and policies. 
  • Monitors competitive trends in cash/bonus compensation. Analyzes current programs and makes recommendations for improved effectiveness.
  • Performs market pricing and internal analysis to determine appropriate compensation components (grade, bonus level, etc.) according to compensation guidelines to ensure internal and external competitiveness.
  • Participates in, gathers, evaluates and/or conducts market data surveys to collect and analyze salary information to determine the company's competitive position. Utilizes survey results for wage proposals, pay ranges and internal equity studies.  Prepares data, conducts, and participates in national, regional, and local salary, economic and employment surveys.
  • Creates, reviews, modifies and audits new/existing job descriptions. Applies and recommends appropriate FLSA classification/exemptions in accordance with Department of Labor guidelines.
  • Evaluates and utilizes job descriptions for benchmarking to determine salary and grade assignment within Company’s salary structure.  Works with functional managers to ensure accurate benchmark matches.
  • Conducts internal equity reviews as needed.  Advises Human Resources management by recommending appropriate compensation actions.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years direct experience in a compensation required.

Strong experience with salary structures, benchmark data, pay practices, bonus programs and job descriptions/evaluations.

Experience using various compensation analysis tools and techniques.

Experience and strong knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred).

Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of human resource regulations, best practices, policies and procedures.
Must have good understanding of OFCCP, EEOC and FLSA regulations.

Previous work experience in a cross-cultural, international environment preferred.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.
