Director Compensation, Benefits, HRIS

As part of a Shared Service function in North America, this position is responsible for the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of the organization's compensation and benefit programs, payroll management, related human resource policies & procedures, and HR Systems. This position directs and oversees the compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures for multiple legal entities in the United States and Canada.

 

  • Directs and executes all aspects of the organization’s health and welfare programs.    
  • Ensures on-going communication to associates regarding benefit programs.  
  • Manages the payroll function, administration and compliance.
  • Directs, develops and executes HR policies related to Compensation, Benefits and Payroll.      
  • Directs, executes, and evaluates HR Systems based on the needs of the organization.
  • Manages and monitors on-going performance of outside vendors.
  • Support project management initiatives for the Company pertaining to any area of growth or change related to systems that enable HR business processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field.
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Prior management/director level experience required
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.    
  • Strong planning, analytical and influence skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen skills
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to partner with and influence all management levels
