    Summary:

    This position provides analytical support for a wide range of compensation programs/projects designed to support business strategies.  Assists in the design, implementation and administration of innovative compensation programs and policies.     Responsibilities:

    Performs professional level administrative and analytical duties to maintain and administer company compensation programs/policies.   Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations requiring a broad understanding of compensation techniques, methods and practices.

    Serve as an internal resource to HR team, recruiters and managers regarding compensation program/policy administration.  Provides counsel to HR and management regarding compensation actions for employees.

    Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policy and practices; recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve problems.

    Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.

    Coordinating and conducting job evaluations and departmental compensation reviews (market pricing, internal equity, career ladder development).

    Create and analyze compensation data to assist with program/policy design and implementation. 

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field. 5+ years experience as a Compensation Analyst.  Healthcare experience preferred.  Ability to influence, solve problems and successfully collaborate and communicate with clients.  Expertise in financial analysis, statistical analysis and data modeling.  Strong Excel, Access and HRIS experience.

    MISSION / SUMMARY:

    Under the direction of the Director, Compensation & HRIS, administer the compensation plans for the organization to include the merit program, incentive plans and special recognition awards.  Ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete data in the HRIS system to include audit of job code data and training of the system users.

     

    JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

    ·         Administration of salary program to include salary planning, job grade determination, job descriptions and consulting with human resource management regarding promotions, hires and performance issues.

    ·         Maintain job code data in HRIS system to include periodic audits for accuracy.

    ·         Participate and analyze industry specific and general market surveys to ensure competitive market position of salaries and compensation programs.

    ·         Applies knowledge of compensation policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws.

    ·         Assists with long-term incentive plan analysis and administration.

    ·         Responsible for analyzing and administering expatriate compensation.

    ·         Assists in the analysis/development of the executive perquisite and special recognition programs and responsible for the programs’ administration

    ·         Responsible for developing communication material for the compensation programs.

    ·         Provide ad hoc reports to field HR reps and others throughout the organization to aid in their business function.

    We’re seeking a technically savvy equity guru to manage the global equity programs for this multi-national corporation.

    This person will be responsible for all equity data record keeping, spanning across stock options, restricted stock, performance share units, and the deferred compensation program.  This is a high profile role within the company, that will ensure all participant’s equity transactions are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner.

    This person will work closely with key stakeholders in Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, Data Processing and Tax teams to address issues or changes in the equity plans and related administration processes.

    Finally, as the subject matter expert you’ll have accountability for the confidentiality of information management, maintenance of a Business Continuity plan, and the go-to person for any escalated queries pertaining to equity matters.

    Current Need

    The Compensation Consultant role is a client facing position responsible for managing compensation programs in support of multiple business units within the MTS Division.   Incumbent serves as lead compensation point of contact to the HR Business Partners, leadership team, recruiters and line managers on compensation topics. The Consultant plans and executes reward strategy and manages and measures program effectiveness for the Corporate Functions, including internationally assigned groups.     Position Description

    • Guide Business Unit HR leaders and managers on using compensation guidelines, policies and practices to optimize how compensation tools can support the talent objectives of their business.
    • Will participate in or lead projects on topics such as sales and short- term incentive plan design, long-term incentives plan administration, M&A and divestiture that impacts assigned business units and/or the entire division or Company.
    • Drive the planning, project management, design, development and implementation of compensation programs within the assigned business units. Ensures the BU strategic and operational initiatives are aligned with the Company’s Compensation philosophy and strategy.
    • Drive the planning and project management of the annual and mid-year compensation review process. Provide guidance to the HRBPs and line managers as needed to ensure the accurate, timely and seamless execution of these initiatives.

    Minimum Requirements

    5+ years compensation experience including 2+ years managerial experience

    • Significant knowledge and understanding of compensation and reward programs and processes. Strong knowledge of compensation surveys, competitive market analysis, custom survey design and statistical analysis, incentive plan design and analysis, pay structure analysis and design, performance management, and other areas of total rewards.
    • Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative). Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and web-based compensation management technology solutions (e.g., MarketPayTM). Develops new tools and templates that can be leveraged using Excel and other software.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to promote our products and services internally as well as to clients.
