Compensation Consultant

Reporting to the Director of Global Compensation, this role is responsible for the successful execution of a variety of compensation processes working closely with other global team members.  Your leadership, team spirit, and compensation expertise will contribute to the success of the team in meeting business needs throughout the year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate as a member of the global compensation team on the implementation of the company’s various pay programs
  • Evaluate positions and new hire offers using the company’s philosophy and market pricing techniques
  • Manage the quarterly bonus process, calculations, and special cases
  • Assist with annual planning, forecasting and budgeting exercises
  • Submit data to compensation surveys and conduct analysis of survey data and internal data in support of a variety of compensation programs; Serve as liaison for compensation survey vendors
  • Assist in preparation of merit increase budgets and incentive budgets, including equity, for compensation cycle; Assist in producing reports of compensation cycle outcomes
  • Update and maintain salary structures
  • Work with the team to continually improve compensation processes
  • Prepare analytics on variety or workforce topics including attrition, hiring, and other resource dynamics
  • Partner with other team members to improve workforce analytics by streamlining data and utilizing functionality of Workday
  • Facilitate data uploads into Workday; contribute to Workday data and process changes to optimize use of functionality

Position requirements:

  • BA/BS in related field, Human Resource degree preferred
  • 6+ years’ experience in Compensation related positions
  • Ability to interface with business leaders
  • Prior experience in a professional services and/or technology environment, working within a collaborative global team setting
  • Proven ability to be analytical and handle data effectively
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Additional qualifications include:

Strong problem-solving ability using both traditional and innovative techniques
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and the Internet
Experience with Workday preferred
