Interested in becoming a Compensation Manager at Aaron’s?  As Aaron’s Compensation Manager, you will develop, implement and administer compensation programs to meet company objectives and ensure competitive positioning. Assure, through audits, reports and personal contact that company benefits/compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role will support the Director in managing the salary planning and administration process.  This includes market pricing, short and long-term incentive, sales incentives programs, equity plans, incentive plan design, salary structure and workforce communication.


  • Strategic design of administrative & operations compensation programs to meet company objectives and goals. 
  • Manage all compensation vendor relationships and contracts. 
  • Manage and execute the annual compensation cycles.
  • Manage salary structure.
  • Implement and maintain job classification structure including job grade determination, job descriptions, and exemption status. Consult with others regarding handling promotions and hiring issues.
  • Conduct analysis to measure the effectiveness of compensation programs.
  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term incentive plans, including sales/commission plans.
  • Ensures compliance of compensation policies and procedures with applicable laws.
  • Assist developing and delivering communication material for compensation programs and educating the organization on all related programs, policies and procedures.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 8 years of experience in compensation, 5 years of strategic design & management
  • CCP certification preferred
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • High energy level
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Travel 10%
