    Aon Hewitt currently has an opening in its Broad Based Compensation Consulting Practice supporting Aon Hewitt's Compensation Co-Sourcing delivery team in Atlanta. This practice provides ongoing compensation support to our clients including annual compensation cycle planning and execution as well as market data management technology using MarketPay. In this role you will work as part of a team, serving as project manager for multiple client engagements.  Your primary responsibilities will include ongoing program support and project management for the following:

    -  Survey portfolio management and Survey submissions

    -  Job evaluation/Market pricing

    -  Competitive market analysis

    -  Pay program modeling and costing

    -  Technology management activities in support of MarketPay, our preferred market data management software vendor, including set-up and implementation for client engagements in partnership with our vendor

    -  Implementation of MarketPay - including client requirements gathering and HRIS data mapping

    You will have frequent contact with clients, deliver client work that is mostly leveraged to you and begin to help generate revenue through extend and expand opportunities. You will apply content knowledge and technical skills in the above areas in working with clients and assisting with less complex client proposals in addition to testing new functionality of market data management tools, developing and managing processes for the completion of client deliverables, and assist in training entry level consultants.

     

    Qualifications 

    -  5-7 years progressive experience in a Compensation, Rewards or HR content area; or experienced HR systems professional with exposure to management of systems in support of compensation programs or manager self-service tools.

    -  Strong data management skills, process orientation and attention to detail are essential.

    -  Proficient in using Compensation Management software for survey management, market pricing, and competitive analysis.

    -  Experience managing and executing project plans.

    -  Previous experience in client-facing roles (internal or external) or in a business compensation role

    -  Knowledgeable about day-to-day operations of the Compensation function and how compensation programs and information integrates with other areas of HR and the organization

    -  Demonstrated analytical capabilities

    -  Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access

    -  Strong communication skills with proficiency in drafting business correspondence, reports and presentations

    JOB DESCRIPTION: Serves as the front-line consultant to Emory business units, providing project management and technical guidance / support for compensation practices, including, but not limited to base pay, incentives, and job design. Benchmarks compensation practices to peer institutions. May develop materials for and lead compensation related training classes. Responds to internal client inquiries, including, but not limited to: ad-hoc market pricing requests, analysis of compensation issues, classification requests, special analyses, etc. Collaborates with business unit leadership and HR management to assess and understand unique business needs; formulates appropriate alternatives and solutions that meet Emory policy and unit need. Advises clients on the appropriate use of Emory's classification system, such as suggesting appropriate classifications based on job content, scope, etc. Assists in developing and implementing compensation strategies at the business unit level.     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources Management or a related field and five years of professional HR experience, which includes three years of compensation administration or HR consulting experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Strong interdisciplinary knowledge of human resources management including recruitment, retention, employee relations, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include the ability to deliver engaging presentations. Must be able to work independently with key stakeholders and prioritize work appropriately. Ability to influence and build credibility by effectively engaging clients. High analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.     My client is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to work out of their Macon, GA office. This is a FT position that can start immediately. The salary ranges from $80K - $130K depending on experience. My client is willing to pay relocation costs for the right candidate.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manages, directs, and controls the daily operation of the Benefits and Compensation.
    • Design, implementation, communication, measurement and revision, administration, staff supervision and management of all Health, Welfare, and Retirement and Compensation plans.
    • Evaluate the benefit plans of acquisition candidates, determines and executes integration strategy, including communication to employees of the newly acquired entities.
    • Work closely on a daily basis with the other members of the HR Department to provide services which maximize the Human Capital.

    Kennesaw State University is seeking a Compensation Specialist who will be responsible for administering institutional compensation and benefits programs. Individual will evaluate and analyze salary data, determine pay grades, and conduct or participate in compensation surveys. Successful candidate will conduct job evaluations and may serve on job evaluation committees and will create and maintain job descriptions according to established classification structure. Individual will also assist in administering institutional benefit program policies and procedures.
