    Position Summary

    Responsible for the overall design, implementation and administration of the company's  base and bonus compensation programs. Works closely with senior management to ensure that programs support the company's strategic objectives and meet all legal requirements. Facilitates approval of organizational structure, job grades, job descriptions and salary ranges. Manages the company's performance management process. Will also participate in other HR functions as directed.

    Analyze and resolve business issues related to compensation program development and administration. Confer with client groups proactively across campus in identification of issues and development of recommendations for resolution. Provide support in development or redesign of compensation processes.


    This position will interact on a consistent basis with: director and members of Compensation, Total Compensation team, internal HR divisions, HR Representatives, hiring managers, other Institute leaders. This position typically will advise and counsel: director and members of Compensation, Total Compensation team, internal HR divisions, HR Representatives, hiring managers, other Institute leaders.     Duties may include but are not limited to:
    • Identify core issues, collect and analyze any pertinent data, identify policy issues and make recommendations on addressing those issues.
    • Maintain sound practices in pricing jobs and developing a pay for performance culture.
    • Consult with leaders and managers to help solve workforce issue. Present the tools and training to key constituents of the Institute, enabling the leaders to own more of the process and decisions.
    • Develop and lead project plans across the Institute. These projects may not be limited to the client base. Position will make decisions (major decisions will be worked with the Directors of Compensation).
    • Remain aware of larger market trends in the industry as well as the compensation field.
    • Partner with other areas of Human Resources to meet client needs.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.


    Degrees required for this job: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Degrees preferred: Master's Degree.

This practice provides ongoing compensation support to our clients including annual compensation cycle planning and execution as well as market data management technology using MarketPay.     The Human Resources Administration Division of the Department of Administrative Services seeks a working level Compensation Analyst who will provide analysis, research and technical expertise in the Benefits & Compensation Unit for enterprise job classification and compensation programs.

    My client is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to work out of their Macon, GA office. This is a FT position that can start immediately. The salary ranges from $80K - $130K depending on experience. My client is willing to pay relocation costs for the right candidate.

    Kennesaw State University is seeking a Compensation Specialist who will be responsible for administering institutional compensation and benefits programs. Individual will evaluate and analyze salary data, determine pay grades, and conduct or participate in compensation surveys. Successful candidate will conduct job evaluations and may serve on job evaluation committees and will create and maintain job descriptions according to established classification structure. Individual will also assist in administering institutional benefit program policies and procedures.
