Compensation Manager

Reporting to the Director of Global Compensation, this role is responsible for the successful execution of a variety of compensation processes working closely with other global team members.  Your leadership, team spirit, and compensation expertise will contribute to the success of the team in meeting business needs throughout the year.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay and annual incentives
Manage annual planning, forecasting and budgeting exercises (salary, annual increments, incentives, rewards and awards programs)
Manage quarterly bonus process, calculations, and special cases
Manage employee communications regarding compensation, including annual merit statement process
Manage relationships with compensation survey vendors
·        Provide guidance and assist with the implementation of the company’s various pay programs

·        Contribute to compensation philosophy, strategy, and policies for the organization

Analyze and advise on compensation related matters such as regulatory compliance and market competitiveness
Interface with business leaders on all aspects of compensation; Hold sessions with leaders on compensation planning strategy
Develop business case presentations for leaders on recommended compensation changes
·        Prepare analytics on variety or workforce topics including attrition, hiring, and other resource dynamics

·        Oversee Workday inputs from compensation cycle and other processes

Provide training and guidance to other team members
Position requirements:

BA/BS in related field, Human Resource degree preferred
6+ years’ experience in Compensation related positions
Ability to interface with business leaders
Prior experience in a professional services and/or technology environment, working within a collaborative global team setting
Proven ability to be analytical and handle data effectively
Demonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Additional qualifications include:

Strong problem-solving ability using both traditional and innovative techniques
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and the Internet
Experience with Workday preferred
